Although the association is relatively new, it has completed several small developmental projects. These include maintaining infrastructure in Sabra area, restoring the Arab Mosque in Hay El Sellom, providing solar power for water pumps that supply Beirut, and upgrading the Civil Defense center in Bashoura with essential medical, technical, and logistical supplies. Additionally, we repaired water pumps at the Fire Brigade center in the municipal stadium. “Sanadi” Card Project In recent years, amidst economic and financial collapse, we initiated a project, supported by the association members, to provide monthly financial aid for about 100 families, including elderly people and families living below the poverty line. We are now working to turn this individual initiative into a project that offers full social protection to 500 families by 2025. The “Sanadi” card will provide primary healthcare, food, education, and emergency services, transforming these families into a community receiving social protection. The only way to turn the previous aid efforts into a “Sanadi” community and ensure their social protection is through contributions from generous individuals willing to help the poor families of Beirut. We invite you to support this project, hoping that your contributions will empower this community and allow it to expand to include more families in Beirut who are in dire need of ongoing support until a strong state with institutions that care for its citizens is established. This can be done through a fixed annual or quarterly amount.
